My name is Senaji Ruth. I was born 23rd June 1998 at Pumwani Maternity Hospital. My parents started their life in a slum called Lunga Lunga, where my father had a video business. It was a room where he showed movies on a TV screen and people paid to watch. He also had a barber shop, working to sustain his family.
It has been a favourable and wonderful chance to join Girls Design the World. I have found the project interesting, as it has made me busy thinking and applying my knowledge. I have met with different girls from different schools and their teachers. I have found the video conferencing very interesting. I am excited about the activities of the project. I say thank you to my coordinators, or parents, in the Museum: Senewa and Mwanaima.
