When we attended the festival at Mukuru wa Ruben, we learned so much. We noticed that, despite all the struggles they go through, the people are so talented. Some of the talents we saw included painting, people rapping and singing, and also dancers. The people were very joyous and happy, as well as extremely welcoming. They cooperated as we interviewed them and took photos. We never experienced any hostility from them; they were very kind people.
Personally, I think the people of Mukuru wa Ruben are very talented and all they are lacking is a way to market their talents to make a living out of them, since some of the people lack education. All in all, the people are those who you would love to be with.
